Day 28 point of information...Stovepipe

Someone asked, why do i have a stovepipe on the Defender?

I wish i did as it would make staying warm easier. Actually, it's a air snorkel, not for the Defender going underwater (i guess it would help with that, too) , but to get clean air for the engine when i am going over dirt roads. I figure the Defender has driven on dirt and gravel roads for maybe 8000 miles over its trip to the Moon, mostly in Labrador, and the Dalton Hiway in Alaska and Dempster Highway in the Yukon and Northwest Territory.
