RULES OF THE ROAD for OTR-10 2019

Plan and prepare thoroughly before I leave.

Plan and prepare for contingencies.

Do not set off until fully prepared and rested.

Getting home safely is the goal of the trip

Don’t leave Donner unattended.

Exercise Donner every day.

Know here Donner is at all times.

Keep Donner safe, secured and under control.

Let Donner have fun.

Keep Donner clean, dry, comfortable, and healthy.

Blame nothing on Donner.

Drive safely; Don’t drive when tired; Obey the law

Drive only a reasonable distance each day.

Get off the road by sunset.

Observe daily schedule closely

Get on road early, efficiently each day.

Use the break-camp and pit-stop checklists religiously.

Stay on schedule, but reserve the right to change it.
