I could not resist taking the Defender on this several mile narrow dirt road that ended it way through a narrow canoyn with steel hills, sharp turns, and all the challenges the Defender just waits for. All the good photo ops during the drive were during maneuvers that required my undivided attention. Below is only the entrance to the canyon.
The truth is, the park is set up like a Disney-Land for adults. Driving is restricted to road - paved and dirt - only, which i agree with. But they provide a number of challenging dirt road courses like this one to keep the interest level of the most hardy of us tourists engaged. I can live with that.
