Day 23 photos, the drive from Crater Lake to Willow Creek camp was similar to this almost the whole way...

...except for the two or three towns we ran through on the way. Just driving through this clears your mind.

P.s. that thing visible on the hood of my Defender is for a second spare tire, which i only take when i am going to be doing some serious driving on dirt and gravel roads. There will be some of that in Death Valley, but the risks are less.
