Day 14 photo, Our perfect site at Mt Rainer
If you look hard enough, you will find Donner in the tent. Just beyond the trees in back of our tent is a small cliff, at the bottom of which is a rushing river. Who needs Alexa to lull me to sleep with river sounds? The camp is set in a luscious evergreen forest. Dinner consisted of vegan vegetable soup and bean soup and sardines in hot sauce and rose wine, all for me, that is. Donner had his usual special diet and enjoyed it just as much. The food is stashed in the bear locker for the night. I hope i do not have a repear of Lake Tahoe in 2014 when a huge bear tried to get to the containers on my roof rack. The Defender still shows the evidence.
